Rare Disease Day is a global annual event, recognized by more than 100 countries on the last Friday in February.

In Canada, CORD and its partners in the rare disease community collaborate to generate better outcomes for patients and families. That is, actions that will reduce hospitalizations, return people to work and school, reduce disability, improve mental health, and empower people to do more of whatever it is they wish to do.
